SRI LANKA ARMY ENGINEER DIVISION CONDUCTED A THREE- DAY CAPACITY BUILDING TRAINING PROGRAMME

As per the direction of Directorate of Training, Army Headquarters and the guidance of the General Officer Commanding of Sri Lanka Army Engineer Division, Major General T C Peiris RSP USP, Capacity building training programme was conducted for 18 Training Officers of National Apprentice and Industrial Training Authority (NAITA) on 22nd July to 24th July 2024 at the Hector Kobbewaduwa Agrarian and Training Institute, Colombo 07.

The training programme was conducted focusing enhance the skills and ability of Training Officers in order to employ efficiently. The programme was encompassed lectures including Motivation, Social and Mess etiquettes, Time Management, Stress Management, Leadership and Out Bound Training which consist challenging team activities where participant have to work together as a team to overcome challenges and learn from their experience, critical thinking skills.

Moreover, trainers assess by conducting Scenario- based learning activities which creating immersive training environment where learners meet realistic training challenges and realistic feedbacks as they progress by using all the positive outcomes which they collect during the training programme. The Chairmen and the Directors of NAITA extended their appreciation to the Sri Lanka Army Engineer Division for accepting their invitation and exceptional contribution to conduct a highly impactful three-day training programme.
