The Commandant, Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force and the Colonel Commandant, Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers Major General M K Jayawardena RSP VSV USP ndu made his official visit to 7 Field Engineer Regiment at Batuoya Minneriya on 03rd May 2024.
He was warmly welcomed by the Commanding Officer of 7 Field Engineer Regiment, Major J C Mapatuna RSP SLE, and other Senior Officers. Furthermore, formalities of the visit began with a drive pass, then the Colonel Commandant addressed the troops, emphasizing the responsibilities on their professional life, and personal life as well as how to manage them both in a balance manner.
After addressing the troops, The Colonel Commandant participated to an all ranks tea and the programme was concluded with the sigining of the visitor’s Book.
