The Commandant Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force and the Colonel Commandant of the Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers Major General M K Jayawardena RSP VSV USP ndu made his official visits to Headquarters Field Engineer Brigade (Boo Oya), 8 Field Engineer Regiment (Boo Oya), 9 Field Engineer Regiment (Kokavil) and 10 Field Engineer Regiment (Myliddy) with the objective of addressing under command troops of the respective headquarters and regiments.
Upon arrival to the Headquarters Field Engineer Brigade, the Colonel Commandant was saluted with Drive Passes and warmly welcome by the Commander, Field Engineer Brigade Colonel F Joseph USP and the respective Commanding Officer, 8 Field Engineer Regiment.
As programmed, the Colonel Commandant addressed the under command troops while emphasizing the maintenance of high standerd discipline as military personnel and the value of military service.
Prior to his departure, the Colonel Commandant penned his complimentary remarks in the visitors’ book of Headquarters, Engineer Brigade.
