Major General SA Kulatunga RWP RSP VSV USP psc relinquished duties as Commander Engineer division after completion of six month in the office and highest standard of farewell formalities given him by division including Guard turnout, a colorful guard of honour for outgoing GOC. Major General SA Kulatunga RWP RSP VSV USP psc addressed the division troops at Convention Hall at the Home of Sappers. During his address, he appreciated the contribution given by all ranks in his tenure. Furthermore, he mentioned that he will continue his assistance as a Chief Field Engineer to the Engr Division.
He extended special thanks to Colonel Commandant, Center Commandant, Staff officers of Regimental Headquarters, Staff officers of Sri Lanka Army Engineers Division, all brigade commanders and Commanding officers, and their troops for their genuine contribution to all nation building tasks and effort taken to complete in highest standards. He informed all ranks of the division to continue good work with the incoming General Officer Commanding. While he was recalling the memories of process adopted, stressed the value of discipline as military soldiers in on and off duties. At last, he paid gratitude for all militarized and civilian staff in the division for their valuable service. The farewell formalities ended with rendered to Engineer Division all rank tea and farewell street line for the outgoing GOC Engineer Division . All extended best wishes for his new appointment as Chief field Engineer and his future endeavor.
