Colonel Commandant of the Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers and the Commandant of Defence Services Command and Staff College Major General I H M N N Herath RSP USP psc made an official visit to 11 Field Engineer Regiment on 03rd April 2022. The Colonel Commandant on his arrival was warmly welcomed by Commanding Officer of 11 Field Engineer Regiment Lt Col K K P Pussewala RSP SLE.
The Commanding Officer of 11 Field Engineer Regiment conducted a briefing about the operational and administration in the camp. Then, Colonel Commandant addressed to all Officers about duties and responsibilities of being Officer in Army.
Afterward, sapling of plant in front of Regimental Headquarters to mark the Official visit to unit. Major General I H M N N Herath RSP USP psc addressed the troops of 11 Field Engineer Regiment and emphasized about history of the Corps of Engineer Regiment and gave advices to maintain core principles of regiment for the better Army in future. Finally, a camp premise was visited by Colonel Commandant. The programmed was conducted by adhering to Covid safety guidelines.
