The Colonel Commandant of Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers and the Commandant of Defence Services Command and Staff College Maj Gen I H M N N Herath RSP USP psc made his official visit to Headquarters, General Engineering Brigade at Kachchigala, Embilipitiya on 21 January 2022.
Colonel Commandant’s visit to Headquarters, General Engineering Brigade was an inspiration to the all Officers and Other Ranks of the Brigade Headquarters. Brigadier P P A Perera psc Hdmc, Brigade Commander, General Engineering Brigade, have warmly welcomed the Colonel Commandant at the camp premises and Colonel Project has briefed the functions and the details of ongoing projects carryout by General Engineering Brigade.
As per the itinerary Colonel Commandant of Corps of Engineers Maj Gen I H M N N Herath RSP USP psc planted a sapling in the camp premises and there after he addressed the Officers and Other ranks of the General Engineering Brigade and under command units. The address was held adhering the health and safety guideline of Covid-19.
Colonel Project, Commanding Officers of 1 SLE, 5 SLE, 12 SLE and 12(V) ESR and Officers and Other Ranks of Brigade Headquarters and under command Units were participated for this event at Kachchigala, Embilipitiya.
