THE OFFICIAL VISIT BY THE COLONEL COMMANDANT AND THE COMMANDANT OF THE DEFENCE SERVICES COMMAND AND STAFF COLLEGE TO 4 (V) ENGINEER REGIMENT

The Col Comdt of Corps of Sri Lanka engineers and the Comdt of the Defence Services Command and Staff College Major General IHMNN Herath RSP USP psc made his inaugural visit to 4(V)SLE on 26th January 2022 after assuming duties as 20th Col Comdt of SLE. The Col Comdt was warmly welcomed by the CO 4(V)SLE and all Offrs and ORs of 4(V)SLE. All the Offrs and ORs participated in this event adhering to guidelines stipulated for COVID-19. The event commenced with the guard turnout.The most significant event was opening of newly constructed unit library and museum. After that the CO 4(V)SLE conducted a briefing to Col Comdt about administration and logistic matters of the 4(V)SLE. Then the Col Comdt addressed the troops and inspected the camp premises. Finally Col Comdt appreciated all Offrs and ORs for giving their contribution to uplift the standard of 4(V)SLE.
