THE OFFICIAL VISIT BY THE CENTRE COMMANDANT OF CORPS OF SRI LANKA ENGINEERS TO 10 FIELD ENGINEER REGIMENT

The Regimental Centre Commandant of the Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers, Brigadier M Mayadunna RSP USP visited 10 Field Engineer Regiment on 20 August 2020.The Centre Commandant was warmly welcomed by the Commanding Officer Major W K S T Kannangara psc SLE and paid a customary guard turn out.

During the Commanding Officer’s briefing Centre Commandant had an opportunity to discussed matters pertaining to administrative aspects, importance of training of Officers and Other Ranks, welfare facilities and discipline of the soldiers. Afterwards the visiting Centre Commandant was invited to plant a sapling to mark on his arrival to 10 Field Engineer Regiment.

Later at the end of the troop address Regimental Centre Commandant inspected camp premises and appreciated the effort taken to uplift the living standard, Infrastructures, Sport and welfare facilities of the soldier's.

Lastly, Centre Commandant and staff officers invited for Lunch at the Officers’ Mess and the days programme was concluded adhering to health safety guidance and social distancing practices.
