Brigadier NPA Gunawardena RSP assumes duties as the 19th Commander of the Engineer Brigade on 27 July 2020 amidst religious activities. A series of official events including a guard turnout were organized at Engineer Brigade camp premises parallel to the taking over formalities.
Brigadier Pradeep Gunawardena is an officer who possess with vast experiences in both operational and administration duties as commander and staff officer. He has Commanded Plant Engineer Brigade in the recent history.
