12TH CHIEF FIELD ENGINEER ASSUMES DUTIES

Major General AN Amarasekara USP ndu assumed duties as the 12th Chief Field Engineer of the Sri Lanka Army on 24 July 2020 at his new office. Newly appointed Chief Field Engineer, Major General Nihal Amarasekara symbolically took his office placing the signature on a formal document at an auspicious time amidst Seth Pirith chanting by Maha Sangha.

Afterwards, all senior Officers and Officers in the office congratulate him on his new appointment. He succeeds Major General Kumara Peiris who was appointed as the new Deputy Director of Defence Headquarters project at Akuregoda.

Staff Officers of the HQ Chief Field Engineer, Officers and Other Ranks attended to the occasion.
