14 CBRN REGIMENT BECOMES THE CHAMPIONS AT THE INTER UNIT RUGBY TOURNAMENT 2017
14 CBRN Regiment clinched victory over 9 Field Engineer Regiment during the Inter Units Rugby finals which was held on 8 December 2017 at Mahinda Rajapakse International Stadium, Diyagama. The Colonel Commandant and the Commander Security Forces (West) Major General S Ranasinghe RWP RSP ndu psc participated as the Chief Guest.\r\n\r\nNine Regiments participated the tournament and first round matches were played from 5 to 6 December 2017 where 14 CBRN Regiment and 9 Field Engineer Regiment selected for the finals. 16 Workshop Regiment became second runners up defeating 12 Field Engineer Regiment. As the final segment of the day’s event, an exhibition match was played between Corps of Engineers and Mattegoda United Sports Club. The winners were awarded the trophies and the certificates by the Chief Guest.\r\n
