CORPS OF ENGINEERS SEVA VANITHA BRANCH GRANTS A HOUSE FOR PARENTS WHOSE SON MADE SUPREME SACRIFICES FOR THE MOTHERLAND
Seva Vanitha branch of Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers granted a house for the mother and father of L/Cpl Achila Sampath who got killed in Action in Paranthan, during the Humanitarian operation. Handing over ceremony of the house was held at auspicious time, amid the Buddhist religious observances in, Danthure, Kandy on 30 Sep 2017, with the presence of Mrs. Iromi Ranasinghe chairperson Corps of Engineers Seva Vanitha branch together with members of Seva Vanitha branch, Major General Sudantha Ranasinghe RWP RSP ndu psc the Colonel Commandant and Commander Security Forces (West) and several Senior Officers of Corps of Engineers. The construction of the house was undertaken by the 7 Field Engineers where the financial assistance was bared by Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers.
