Brigadier IHMNN Herath RSP USP psc assumed duties as the Centre Commandant of the Regimental Headquarters on 30th (Monday) January 2017. Brigadier IHMNN Herath RSP USP psc took over duties from Brigadier AN Amarasekara USP and attended the religious activities. Brigadier Nishantha Herath hold the appointment of Brigadier Coordinating at Defence Services Command and Staff College of Sri Lanka before taking over the duties as Centre Commandant.
The outgoing Centre Commandant Brigadier AN Amarasekara USP is to take over duties as the Commander 583 Brigade.
