SAPPER WAR HERO RECEIVED DONATIONS FROM SEVA VANITHA BRANCH.
Seva Vanitha Branch of the Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers donated complete bathroom set along with accessories to S/237563 Staff Sergeant Rathnayake HR (5 Fd SLE) who was a battle casualty on 28 November 1998 at Paranthan. The Donation programme was held on 23 July 2016 at Staff Sergeant Rathnayake’s home Halwinna, Godakawela under the patronage of Mrs. Lushanie Goonetilleke, the President of the Ladies Club. Further construction assistance of the bathroom is given by 5 Field Engineers Regiment.
The Colonel Commandant Major General H C P Goonetilleke RSP VSV USP ndc psc, other Senior Officers and Members of the Seva Vanitha Branch participated at the event.
This Special welfare project was carried out with the partnership with Deutsche bank Sri Lanka and 13 members of the bank also participated.
