FOUNDATION STONE LAID AT SRI LANKA SCHOOL OF MILITARY ENGINEERING
The foundation-stone laying ceremony of the newly proposed headquarter building Sri Lanka School of Military Engineering was held morning hours on 26 May 2016 morning amid religious blessings.
Centre Commandant, Brigadier A N Amarasekara USP graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Lieutenant Colonel BS Ahamat psc SLE, Lieutenant Colonel DAP Dissanayake RSP USP SLE, Lieutenant Colonel F Joseph SLE, Officers and other ranks attended the occasion.
Chief Guest together with senior sapper officers, sapper officers and other ranks laid the foundation stone amid chanting seth pirith by venerable Buddhist monk.
