COLONEL COMMANDANT CONGRATULATES THE MARATHON WINNER
The Colonel Commandant congratulated the Army Half Marathon winner 2015 Sapper Sandaruwan DGD (6 SLE) produced by the Sapper Family on the 27 April 2015 at the Lt Gen NKB Angammana Auditorium RHQ SLE in recognition of his achievement to uplift name of Sappers in the field of sports. He was promoted to the rank of Lance Corporal and presented Rs.15,000.00 of money. He also appreciated the coach who behind the Sanaruwan\'s success by presenting a Rs. 25,000.00 of money.
