“WAK OYA ATHURU ELA BRIDGE” DECLARED OPEN
The newly constructed bridge in Wakoya Athuru Ela was declared open by the Commander Security Force Headquarters (West) Major General S Ranasinghe RWP RSP ndu psc at an auspicious time held on 22th February 2017. The bridge has been built as a solution to cross the Wakoya ela which run through Labugama Kaluaggala road. 14 feet roadway and 50 feet length compact 200 Type Bridge was construction by 1 Field Engineer Regiment within 28 days. \r\nChief Field Engineer Major General GDI Karunaratne RSP psc, Commander Engineer Brigade Brigadier SJMAR Seneviratne RWP USP psc, Centre Commandant Brigadier IHMNN Herath RSP USP psc, Senior Officers, Officers and many number of Other Ranks participated in the occasion.\r\n
