The Chief Field Engineer and the Colonel Commandant of Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers Maj Gen MK Jayawardena RSP VSV USP ndu made his official visit to Regimental Headquarter SLE on 23 May 2023.
The Colonel Commandant was warmly welcomed by the Centre Commandant, Brigadier MPK Madurapperuma RSP USP psc and Senior Officers/Officers. During the programme the Colonel Commandant visited to branches/sections at Regimental Headquarter for inspect welfare facilities of Officers/Other ranks and added best wishes by unveiling the banner of Spr Senarathne SMNS who won the 2nd place of 2023 Army Inter Regiment Bodybuilding Championship from 85 Kg weight class. Moreover, under the guidance of the Colonel Commandant, newly Air-Conditioned Corporal’s Club bar was declared and handed over concurrent with the event. After, he participated to the conference held with staff officers for discuss important matters related to Regimental Headquarter.
