VISIT OF THE CHIEF FIELD ENGINEER TO 10 FIELD ENGINEER REGIMENT

The Chief Field Engineer, Major General P P A Perera Hdmc psc made his maiden official visit to 10 Field Engineer Regiment on 30 May 2024. The newly appointed Chief Field Engineer was warmly welcomed by the Commanding Officer of 10 Field Engineer Regiment, Major L V R C N Bandara RSP psc SLE by extending a gracious welcome on behalf of all Ranks of the Regiment.

The Chief Field Engineer memorized the era he spent here as the first ever Second in Command of 10 Field Engineer Regiment and further the maintenance of high standard discipline as a military personal and the value of military service were emphasized during his troop address. By symbolizing the visit, Chief Field Engineer planted a Jack-fruit sapling. Before the departure, Chief Field Engineer penned his compliments on visitors’ book and posed for a group photograph by concluding his visit.
