SEVA VANITHA BRANCH HOLDS ‘KAPRUKA POOJAWA’ AT SOMAWATHIYA TEMPLE
Members of the Seva Vanitha Branch Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers, and their families under the patronage of President of the Seva Vanitha Branch Mrs Iromi Ranasinghe participated in the religious activities at Somawathiya Temple on 7th May 2017 by undertaking ‘Kapruka Poojawa’ to invoke blessings to the fallen war heroes and Veterans of the Corps.
Major General S Ranasinghe RWP RSP ndu psc Colonel Commandant Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers, some of the Senior Officers and Officers took part for the event. Differently able soldiers of the RFT squadron also participated for the religious activities. At the termination of the event Seva Vanitha branch donated items for the development of the Somawathiya Temple.
