A SERIES OF NEW INFRASTRUCTURE FACILITIES WERE INAUGURATED AT HOME OF SAPPERS – MATTEGODA

The Commander Security Forces Mullaitivu and the Colonel Commandant of the Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers Maj Gen MK Jayawardena RSP VSV USP ndu made an official visit to the Home of Sappers – Mattegoda and inaugurated the newly constructed WO’s and Sgt’s Mess accommodation building at 5 Field Engineer Regiment on 23 December 2023. Subsequently, the Colonel Commandant visited to review the progress of the renovation of Sappers Cricket ground.

In line with the days programme, the Colonel Commandant inaugurated the newly constructed Changing Room and Toilet Complex at SALEBA – Mattegoda. The Chief Field Engineer of the Sri Lanka Army and the Commander Engineer Division Maj Gen SA Kulatunge RWP RSP VSV USP psc, Centre Commandant Brig SPG Gamage RWP RSP USP, Senior Officers and Officers also took part in the event.
