SAPPERS BECAME THE RUNNERS ‘UP OF ALL ISLAND DIALOG C DIVISION TOURNAMENT IN 2017
Sapper rugby team became the runners up of All Island dialog C division rugby tournament 2017 was held at Science College ground in Mount Lavinia on 7th June 2017 with the SL Navy rugby team points 10-19.The Sappers displayed a promising team effort in pulling off this impressive victory and this is the highest achievement gained by the sapper rugby team in their rugby history. Dialog Cup Tournament Organized by Rugby Union of Sri Lanka and this tournament was opened for all Island rugby teams. Sapper team played six matches prior to select for the finals. \r\nAt the final, sappers played with SL Navy team at the Science College Ground in Mount Lavinia and sappers demonstrated the high quality and amazing playing style while playing with another one of the leading element in Country and emerged as the runners ‘up in the Dialog C division tournament in 2017.\r\n
