SAPPERS BECAME CHAMPONS AT INTER REGIMENT RUGBY TOURNEMANT – SHIELD CATEGORY.
Championship of the Sri Lanka Army Inter Regiment Rugby Tournament - Shield category was clinched by Sappers on 24 July 2016 evening at Mahinda Rajapaksa International Stadium beating their rival, the Sri Lanka Artillery team 12-15.
The Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers displayed promising team effort in pulling off this impressive victory. The team is coached by Mr Denzil Darling and managed by Lt Col C D Wickramanayake WV SLE.
