The Sappers 4X4 Gympo 2019 Off - Road Challenge patronized by the Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers in association with the Four Wheel Drive Club (FWDC) and the Sri Lanka Motor Cycle Riders Association was flagged off on 5 September 2019 at the Diyatha Uyana for the ninth successive year.
Major General TJ Nanayakkara RWP VSV USP ndu the Chief Field Engineer of Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers graced the event as the Chief Guest along with many Senior Officers, Officers, members of the Four Wheel Drive Club and the Sri Lanka Motor Cycle Riders Association along with the event sponsors.
Sappers 4X4 Gympo 2019 serves the noble cause of raising funds for the enhancement of much-needed infrastructure facilities of Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers and is committed to improve welfare of all ranks in the Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers and families of late War Heroes.
The main event is to be held on 08 September 2019 at Sri Lanka School of Military Engineers.
