SAPPER WAR HERO RECEIVED DONATIONS FROM SEVA VANITHA BRANCH
In appreciation of the sacrifice to liberate the motherland from the curse of terrorism, Seva Vanitha Branch of the Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers provided donations to S/242175 L/Cpl Wijerathne W S (5 Fd SLE) who got injured on 10 June 2007 at Kalmadu during the Humanitarian Operation. The Donation of items for a fully completed bathroom was held on 4 July 2015 at his home Wennappuwa.
A special function was organized by the Seva Vanitha Branch at L/Cpl Wijerathne\'s Home under the patronage of Mrs. Lushanie Goonetilleke, the President of the Ladies Club. The Colonel Commandant Major General H C P Goonetilleke RSP USP ndc psc and other Senior Officers presented at the Event.
Doitch Bank 1.15 Million donated the money and 18 members of the bank took part at the event.
