A SAPPER OFFICER CLINCHED THE BEST PLATOON COMMANDER IN INTER REGIMENT DRILL COMPETITION – 2017
Captain K.H.L.P Karunarathne of Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers became the Best Platoon Commander while The Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers Drill Platoon securing the 3rd place in the Inter Regiment Drill Competition – 2017 which was held at Panagoda Army Cantonment parade grounds from 13 to 18 August 2017.Also, Corps of Engineers Braze Band clinched the 3rd place in the Inter Regimental Band Competition – 2017.
Trophies for the winners were awarded by the Commander of the Army Lieutenant General N U M M W Senanayake RWP RSP USP psc at the Army Day parade on 10 Oct 17 at Panagoda Army Cantonment grounds.
