Officers\' Training Day of the Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers was held at the Corps Headquarters on 16th Dec 2016 conforming to the benchmarks set out by Army Training and Command (ARTRAC). Eighty two Sapper Officers participated for the training day programme which was organized from 0600 hours to 2130 hours focusing on improving the Physical Training, Personal Drill, Presentations, Lectures and Recreations etc. \r\nDay’s activities commenced with PT session followed by Personal Drill for young officers. Thereafter following activities were taken place:\r\n \r\n• Lecture on “Staff Development” conducted by Major KANPK Kodithuwakkupsc SLE.\r\n• Lecture on “Form a Model of Officer Career plan for Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers to Face a Future Challenges in Sri Lanka Army” conducted by Major PADSW Ponnamperuma psc SLE.\r\n• Leadership Presentation conducted by team of officers of 14 Independent Engineers Regiment.\r\n• Lecture on “Family and Sexual Life” conducted by Lieutenant Colonel JAUJP Jayasooriya (Clinical Psychological Counselor Army Hospital Colombo).\r\n• Evening Recreation.\r\n• Diners Club “Diplomacy and Foreign Policy” conducted by visiting guest speaker, Miss BhagyaSenarathne Lecturer of Kotelawala Defence University.
