NEWLY PROMOTED MAJOR GENERAL HRKP PEIRIS USP FELICITATES AT CORPS HEADQUARTERS
Felicitation Ceremony for newly promoted Major General Kuma Peiris was held at Corps Headquarters on 12 January 2018 with the participation of Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks of Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers. The Day’s Chief Guest, Major General Kuma Peiris was warmly welcomed on his arrivalat Corps Headquarters by the Overlooking Centre Commandant, Colonel Lanka Amarapala and accorded with aGuard Turnout. Afterwards, he paid tribute to the Fallen War Heroes. Subsequently, he was bestowed with a Guard of Honour. As the final segment of the day’s ceremony all Officers gathered for a tea at the Convention Centre. A brief documentary video composed by the Regimental Centre was flashed at the occasion to recall the glimpse of the path he treaded during the 33 years of illustrious military career in Sri Lanka Army.
