MEMBERS OF THE ENGINEERS SEVA VANITHA BRANCH ORGANIZED DONATION PROGRAMME TO THE FLOOD AFFECTED FAMILIES AT KATEPOLA IN RATHNAPURA DISTRICT
Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers Seva Vanitha Branch organized a donation programme for floods affected families at Ketepola area at am hours on 11 June 2017.
A special function was organized by the Seva Vanitha Branch of the Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers in Ketepola Abinawaramaya Temple with the patronage of the Seva Vanitha branch president Mrs Iromi Ranasinghe. President and members of the Seva Vanitha branch were present at the occasion. Colonel Commandant Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers and Commander Security Force Headquarter (West) Major General S Ranasinghe RWP RSP ndc psc, Commander 583 Brigade Brigadier AN Amarasekara USP, Deputy Center Commandant Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers Colonel AHLG Amarapala RWP RSP psc and some of the Staff Officers of Headquarter Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers also participated for the event.
Large number of affected families in nearby area, received donations which included dry rations, Kids wear, gents wear, ladies wear, bed sheets, stationeries, school bags, and school shoes for the school children.
