MAJOR GENERAL S P G GAMAGE RWP RSP USP WAS HONORED WITH FELICITATION CEREMONY

Major General S P G Gamage RWP RSP USP was honored in a grand felicitation ceremony on the 26th November at the Regimental Centre of the Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers, marking his recent promotion to the rank of Major General.

The event commenced with a warm welcome extended by Colonel F Joseph USP, the Centre Commandant. Upon his arrival, Major General Pradeep Gamage was accorded a ceremonial Guard Turnout at the Main Entrance. A floral tribute to the Fallen War Heroes followed, paying solemn respect to those who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to the nation.

Continuing with military tradition, Major General Pradeep Gamage took the salute at the Guard of Honour, a symbolic gesture recognizing his remarkable achievements and dedication to military service. The Commander Security Forces (West) and Colonel Commandant of the Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers, Major General Lanka Amarapala RWP RSP ndc psc, commended Major General Pradeep Gamage for his outstanding accomplishments during a special invitation extended to him and his family at the Commandant's Office.

The ceremony concluded with a formal tea at the Officers’ Mess. The Chief Guest, Major General Pradeep Gamage, was warmly greeted by members of the Regimental Council, senior officers, and officers, highlighting the collective appreciation of his exemplary service and leadership.
