MAJOR GENERAL LANKA AMARAPALA AND COLLEAGUES EXPRESS PROFOUND GRATITUDE TO THEIR MENTORS

The Chief Field Engineer of the Sri Lanka Army, Major General Lanka Amarapala, along with his fellow colleagues—Mr. Prasanna Fonseka, Mrs. Gayathri De Silva, Mr. D.N. Kumrapperuma, Mr. Jayarathne Amarathunga, and Mr. Manimuni D. Alvis—arranged an astonishing get-together for their beloved mentors who had moulded and groomed them during their school life. They organized this magnificent teachers' get-together for the past teachers of Dharmapala College, Pannipitiya, at Sappers’ Leisure Bay on Saturday (12).

This gathering provided a unique opportunity for the proud former students to express their gratitude and admiration to their teachers who had made a lasting impact on their lives. Beyond academics, teachers often play the role of mentors, guiding students through challenges and instilling values that shape their character.

The past teachers of Dharampla College shared their fond memories with their former students, and they were delighted with the arrangements and joyful events organized.
