Major General D K S K Dolage USP nps psc, the Colonel Commandant of the Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers formally assumed duties as the Chief of Staff of the Sri Lanka Army at Army Headquarters, in a solemn ceremony that held on Thursday, 26 June 2025.
The ceremony commenced with the dignified chanting of Seth Pirith by the Maha Sangha, invoking blessings for his upcoming tenure. In a symbolic gesture of authority, Major General Kapila Dolage signed the official appointment document, marking the beginning of his responsibilities in this prestigious appointment.
Major General Kapila Dolage is the 10th Chief of Staff produced by the Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers—an acknowledgment of his distinguished career and the Corps’ enduring legacy of excellence. The ceremony was attended by Principal Staff Officers, Directors, Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks at the Chief of Staff Office.
