HINDU RELIGIOUS OBSERVANCES INVOKES BLESSINGS ON CORPS 66 ANNIVERSARY
A special Hindu Pooja observance took place in accordance with the 66 Anniversary of Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers at Mawadipuram Kovil scared premises, Jaffna on 04 November 2017 with the presence of a large gathering.
Regimental flag and the all other Regiments flags were blessed at the inner chamber of the scared Kovil premises amidst religious rites and rituals.
Major General Darshana Hettiarrachchi Commander Security Forces (Jaffana) attended the segment, as the day’s Chief Guest together with Major General Mervin Perera General Officer Commanding 51 Division, Brigadier Sarath Dissanayake Commander 512 Infantry Brigade and number of Senior Officers, Officers and Other Rankers graced the occasion.
