CORPS OF SRI LANKA ENGINEERS INTER REGIMENT DRILL COMPETITION 2017
Prize awarding ceremony of Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers Inter Regimental Drill Competition 2017 took place at Regimental Headquarters parade ground on 9th March 2017 where Director General Sports Major General PMR Bandara WWV USP ndu psc graced the event as Chief Guest.\r\n\r\nAt the commencement of the day\'s proceedings, display of Drills that testified to the discipline of Sapper soldiers have received amidst loud cheering of the spectators. The climax of the day\'s events was the presentation of trophies to the best platoon commanders, in respective Drill platoons. Director General Sports Major General PMR Bandara WWV USP ndu psc, the Chief Guest on the occasion afterwards gave away medals in appreciation of their contribution to the whole event and congratulated each and every one of them.\r\n\r\nIn the Inter Regiment Drill Competition, the 7 Field Engineer Regiment emerged the winner and 1 Field Engineer Regiment platoon was adjudged as runner up.\r\n\r\nLieutenant MSM Senarathna SLE of 7 Field Engineer Regiment was adjudged the Best Platoon Commander in the competition.\r\n\r\nAt the end of the ceremony Major General PMR Bandara WWV USP ndu psc addressed the participants and posed a group photograph with the champion and runner up platoons. \r\n
