Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers celebrates Vesak festival by organized a programme by distributing of essential food, sanitary items, medicines and clothes to Mothers and Fathers at Thusitha Elderly Home – Mattegoda on 02 May 2023. The programme was coordinated on the direction of the Chief Field Engineer of the Sri Lanka Army and the Colonel Commandant of the Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers Maj Gen MK Jayawardena RSP VSV USP ndu and sponsored by Mr. Prasad Lokubalasooriya a philanthropist.
A number of 26 Mothers and Fathers were benefitted by receiving essential food, sanitary items, medicines, clothes and the programme was followed by offering a tea party with a musical evening.
