CORPS OF SRI LANKA ENGINEERS CELEBRATED VESAK FESTIVAL 2017
Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers celebrated Vesak festival 2017 as the most sacred holiday on the Buddhist calendar marking the birth, enlightenment and death of Lord Buddha.
The Colonel Commandant Major General S Ranasinghe RWP RSP ndu psc extended ‘Vesak’ greetings to All Sri Lankans on behalf of the Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers.
All Regiments and establishments of the Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers engaged today with religious ceremonies such as Alms giving, Bodhi Poojas, Dhamma sermons, Vesak Lanterns and Dansals across the country to celebrate the Vesak festival 2017.
