CORPS OF ENGINEERS HOSTS FAREWELL DINNER FOR RETIRED SAPPER OFFICERS
Farewell Dinner for the retired officers of the Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers was held on 9th February 2017 at the Officers Mess Panagoda under the patronage of Chief of Staff of Sri Lanka Army and Colonel Commandant of the Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers Major General H C P Goonetilleke RSP VSV USP ndc psc. Many number of retired Sapper Officers present with their spouses.\r\n\r\nChief Field Engineer Major General GDI Karunaratne RSP psc, Centre Commandant Brigadier IHMNN Herath RSP USP psc and Respective Commanding Officers of retired officers commended about the service they rendered to the Corps and the Army. The event made a good opportunity to interact with the Legends of the Corps.\r\n
