Prefects’ investiture ceremony of Buthpitiya Maha Vidyalaya gloriously held on 26 July 2023 at the school premises. The Commander of Security Forces Headquarters Mullaitivu and the Colonel Commandant of Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers Maj Gen MK Jayawaradena RSP VSV USP ndu graced the occasion as the chief guest with the President of SLE Seva Vanitha Branch Mrs. Shammi Jayawardena.
As a gesture of goodwill and charity, SLE Seva Vanitha Branch conducted a programme for donation of Exercise books for the students of Buthpitiya Maha Vidyalaya parallel to the School Prefects investiture ceremony.
The donation programme was led with the guidance of Maj Gen MK Jayawadena RSP VSV USP ndu and sponsored by Mr. Prasad Lokubalasooriya a philanthropist.
Further, a 2000L Water tanks which essential to the school, was donated by Mr. Hemapala Jayawardena, father of Maj Gen MK Jayawardena RSP VSV USP ndu.
