COLONEL COMMANDANT MAKES A FORMAL VISIT TO MATTEGODA AND BOO OYA
Major General S Ranasinghe RWP RSP ndu psc Colonel Commandant of the Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers made a formal visits to Mattegoda and Boo Oya on 24th and 26th March 2017.\r\n\r\nOn arrival to the Mattegoda Camp on 24th March, the visiting Colonel Commandant was honoured in a formal Guard Turnout and he was warmly welcomed by Chief Field Engineer, Major General GDI Karunaratne RSP psc.\r\n\r\nDuring the Mattegoda Visit, the Colonel Commandant visited the Headquarters Chief Field Engineer, 5 Field Engineer Regiment, 14 Independent Engineer Regiment and Independent Workshop.\r\n\r\nOn 26th March, Colonel Commandant visited the Headquarters Engineer Brigade, 8 Field Engineer Regiment at Boo Oya Army Camp.\r\n\r\nSenior Sapper officers, Sapper officers and other ranks participated in both events.
