Sri Lankan Army troops serving in the United Nations Interim Forces In Lebanon (UNIFIL) conducted a special training session for the Indonesian peacekeepers on Wednesday (28) August 2024 at the request of the Indonesian Contingent Commander and aimed to enhance safety and security procedures, with a particular focus on handling Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs).
The Sri Lankan team shared their expertise and practical experience to strengthen the Indonesian troops' skills in managing critical threats in the future. This collaborative effort underscores the commitment of both nations to improve their operational capabilities and ensure the safety of personnel engaged in peacekeeping missions.
