UN OFFICIALS CONDUCT RISK ASSESSMENT INSPECTION TO THE 5TH COMBAT CONVOY COMPANY IN MALI MINUSMA

A team of United Nations officials conducted a Risk Assessment Inspection for the 5th Contingent of Sri Lanka Combat Convoy Company (SLACCC) on Tuesday (07) November 2023 at Gao Super Camp premises in Mali.

Mr. Ghandhi Shukri, the Principal Advisor to the Special Representative of the Secretary General (SRSG) MINUSMA and his team attended for the Risk Assessment Inspection and admired the existing rules and preventive measures taken by the Contingent Commander of 5th CCC to ovoid the unpleasant situations could be happened in future.

After visiting the camp premises, the inspection team assessed the readiness of camp security, preventive measures taken for the reduction of sexual exploitation and welfare facilities provided for the troops.
