VISIT OF THE FORCE CHIEF OF STAFF TO LKACCC

Brig Gen Guillaume PONCHIN Force Chief of Staff and delegation have visited the LKACCC in Gao Super Camp at 1700 hr on 10 October 2023.

As scheduled by HQ Sector East, FCOS was honored at LKACCC contingent premises with an impressive guard turnout. After a warm welcome contingent commander made an informative briefing on future operations and progress of withdrawal process. During the short brief commander highlighted the challenges of operation due to the ongoing situation in Mali.

Finally, Brig Gen Guillaume PONCHIN, Force Chief of Staff has congratulated the LKA CCC for their professionalism and most importantly, for being the only sector east asset to provide convoy escorts towards to the North of Mali TESSALIT.

The visit was accomplished with the joining of Head of Office and the Sector East Commander soon after the briefing of FCOS. To blemish the event of interaction of senior officials from Bamako and HQ Sector East group photograph was taken Infront of LKACCC Officers Mess. Thereafter dinner was served at Officers’ Mess and handing over of momentous by the contingent commander took place to mark the significant movement of the event.

At the last, Mrs. Hawa Ahmed Youssouf Head of Office - GAO, Brig Gen Harendra Pathak Sector CMD Sector East and Brig Gen Guillaume PONCHIN Force Chief of Staff have congratulated the LKACCC by making note on visitors book for their professionalism and commitment toward the achievement of successful world peace through working on MINUSMA.
