COMMANDING OFFICER AND THE TROOPS OF 13TH SRI LANKA FORCE PROTECTION COMPANY ATTENDED THE INDONESIAN AND FRENCH MEDAL AWARDING CEREMONIES

In appreciation of the outstanding services rendered towards strengthening the security of UNIFIL Headquarters in Lebanon, Commanding Officer and the troops of the 13th Sri Lanka Force Protection Company were invited to attend the Indonesian and French Medal Awarding Ceremonies held on 05 and 25 October 2022 respectively.

Thereby, Lt Col SMDN Samarakoon RWP USP Commanding Officer of 13th Sri Lanka Force Protection Company was invited to pin the UN medals for the peacekeepers as a special invitee of the occasions with the aim of developing the friendship and mutual cooperation among the nations.

UN Staff Officers, as well as the representatives of UNIFIL forces from the other countries were present at the ceremony.
