13TH UNIFIL TROOPS WON THE 3RD PLACE IN SUMMER VOLLEYBALL TOURNAMENT-2022

The Annual Force Headquarters Summer Volleyball Tournament was organized by the Austria Peacekeepers at the Autlog Beach Volleyball ground on 15 and 16 October 2022.

The peacekeepers belong to twenty four teams representing twenty countries and the Maritime Task Force (MTF) took part in the Summer Volleyball tournament. Beating their rival, Sri Lanka Army 13th UNIFIL troops finally emerged the 3rd place amidst thundering applause as the final few minutes turned critical for both teams. Whilst, two teams of Indonesia won the 1st and 2nd places of the tournament and Brigadier General Bruno Heuli Chief of Staff, the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) graced the event as the Chief Guest.
