UN OFFICIALS INSPECT COE OF 15TH SRI LANKA FORCE PROTECTION COMPANY (SLFPC)

A Contingent Owned Equipment (COE) Inspection was held at the 15th Sri Lanka Force Protection Company (SLFPC) Sri Base camp premises in Naquora, Lebanon on Friday (30 ) August 2024 with the participation of the officials from the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL).

This quarterly inspection was carried out to assess the operational readiness of major equipment and self-sustainment equipment provided by the Sri Lankan government to continue the peacekeeping operations in Lebanon according to the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed between the government of Sri Lanka and UNIFIL.

The inspection team, headed by COE Chief, Mr.Volodymyr Olekha assed all categories of COE such as Containers, Combat Vehicles, Support Vehicles-Commercial pattern, Support Vehicle-Military pattern, Armaments, Ammunition and ammunition storages, Logistics equipment, Miscellaneous equipment, Soldier Kit, Cleaning (hygiene), Medical, Laundry, Observation, Welfare and Internet Access, Furniture, Catering and Fire safety.

At the conclusion of the day's events, each inspector held a debriefing session to share their assessments.
