SRI LANKA ARMY DELEGATION PAYS A COURTESY CALL ON UNIFIL DEPUTY FORCE COMMANDER

A delegation of the Sri Lanka Army led by Major General U K D D P Udugama RWP RSP USP ndc psc- the Director General General Staff along with Major General K A W N H Bandaranayake USP- Colonel of the Regiment Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment and Brigadier S A Hettige RSP psc – Director, Directorate of Overseas Operations of the Sri Lanka Army, paid a courtesy call on the UNIFIL Deputy Force Commander on 10th February 2025 at the UNIFIL HQ, Naqoura in Lebanon.

The Courtesy Call was arranged prior to the Medal Awarding Ceremony of 15th Sri Lankan Force Protection Company in the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon. The delegation was warmly welcomed by Major General Chok Bahadur Dhakal - UNIFIL Deputy Force Commander, and the Contingent Commander Lieutenant Colonel D K D Vithange RSP of the 15th Sri Lankan Force Protection Contingent joined this occasion.
