ROTATION COORDINATOR FOR UPCOMING SRI LANKAN FORCE PROTECTION COMPANY IN LEBANON CALLS ON DIRECTOR OVERSEAS OPERATIONS

A UN officer Mr. Azar Saikaly called on the Director Overseas Operations Brigadier G L S W Liyanage USP psc on Monday (01) April 2024 in his office at the Army Headquarters.

Mr. Azar Saikaly, the Rotation Coordinator during his cordial meeting with the Director Overseas Operations discussed the smooth functioning of the troop rotation of 15th contingent of Sri Lankan Force Protection Company in Lebanon (SLFPC) to be held during 02 and 03 April 2024. Further, Brigadier G L S W Liyanage USP psc during his dialogue with the UN official acknowledging the continued United Nations support in deploying troops for the United Nations peacekeeping operations. A few Staff Officers of the Directorate participated in the discussion.

Mr. Azar Saikaly arrived in Sri Lanka on Friday (29) March 2024 and he will be departed from Sri Lanka on Thursday (04) April 2024.
