ROTATION COORDINATOR OF SRI LANKA ARMY COMBAT CONVOY COMPANY IN MALI (MINUSMA) CALLS ON DIRECTOR OVERSEAS OPERATIONS

A UN officer Mr. Abdoulaye Taher Jimmy Rodrigue called on the Director Overseas Operations Brigadier G L S W Liyanage USP psc this afternoon (28) in his office at Army Headquarters.

Mr Jimmy Rodrigue during his cordial meeting with the Director Overseas Operations discussed the smooth functioning of the troop rotation of Sri Lanka Army Combat Convoy Company in Mali (MINUSMA) to be conducted on Tuesday (29) August 2023.Further, Brigadier G L S W Liyanage USP psc during his dialogue with the UN official acknowledging the continued United Nations support in deploying troops for the United Nations peacekeeping operations.

Mr Jimmy Rodrigue arrived in Sri Lanka on Saturday (26) August 2023 as a Rotation Coordinator of Sri Lankan Contingent of 5th Combat Convoy Company (CCC) in Mali, MINUSMA and he will be departed from Sri Lanka on 29 August 2023 with the rotational troops.
