THE NEWLY APPOINTED COLONEL OVERSEAS OPERATIONS TAKES OVER DUTIES

Colonel K A P Karawita RSP USP assumed duties as the Colonel Overseas Operations (Col OO) during a brief ceremony held at the Directorate of Overseas Operations, Army Headquarters on 14 February 2025.

The newly appointed Col OO penned his signature in an official document signifying the acceptance of his new office amidst religious observances.

Thereafter, Col OO posed for group photographs with all Officers and Other Ranks, and addressed the gathering to express his vision for the Directorate in future.
