THE HEAD OF CIVIL-MILITARY OPERATION DEPARTMENT OF REPUBLIC OF KOREA VISITS SRIMED LEVEL 2 HOSPITAL IN SOUTH SUDAN

Maj Gen Deogsung Jung, the Head of Civil-Military Operation Department of Republic of Korea and Lt Col Kwanhyo Lee, Deputy Director of Overseas Deployment Division paid a special visit to the SRIMED Level 2 Hospital, Bor, South Sudan on Tuesday (25) October 2022.

During a routine inspection of the South Korean Engineering battalion at UNMISS, Bor compound, the Head of Civil-Military Operation Department of Republic of Korea made this special visit in appreciation of the outstanding services rendered by the Hygiene section of 8th Contingent - SRIMED Level 2 Hospital commanded by Lt Col N M Niflar USP for the prevention of COVID 19, Malaria and other Endemic diseases within the UNMISS compound specially within the Korean battalion, Bor.

Also, a special remark of gratitude was expressed by the Head of Civil-Military Operation Department of Republic of Korea to the entire staff of SRIMED for their service beyond the call of duty in face of adversity. In conclusion, mementos were exchanged to symbolize the mutual relationship between the two countries followed signing the Visitors’ book.
